Burt AllWyld Dashes Through “Run It” Video

Sometimes all you need is a mic and a spotlight to deliver a strong performance. In the case of local MC Burt AllWyld, all he needs is that spotlight turned from ivory to emerald and he’s ready to flaunt his smooth, bouncy flow, as evident by his new video for “Run It.”

Booming and twitchy, the song is a rapid showcase for Burt AllWyld’s bars, which come across measured and direct as the music shakes all around. “Get off your ass, go get some cash, you can’t be broke and lazy,” he lays down, embodying the grinding mindset that permeates all 123 seconds of the song. The video, shot by the SniperVisionFilmzz crew, captures his poised delivery with swaying camera shots that show the rapper forcefully directing the beat with his words, while still enjoying the ride it takes him on.

“Run It” comes quickly after the release of Burt AllWyld’s last single, “My Only Vibe” at the end of December. The hip-hop artist also released the ten-track record Bigger Than Before this past July, which offered plenty of examples of his punchy and flowing style.
