OT Charts A Knotty Journey On “Twista”

Music is a constant journey with performers always striving for something more and more. It’s an artistic grind and one shown fully by Richmond MC OT in his new single “Twista,” which was also featured in video producer HundoMadeIt’s Booth The Street series earlier this month.

“I’m smoking pressure my n**** / The raps, they getting better my n**** / The tracks so ahead of you n*****,” OT lays out early in the track, pointing to the hard work he’s pouring into his craft. Over a twinkling sample and clacking percussion, OT rolls through the track while proclaiming it’s “time to blast off / going faster than NASCAR.” It’s a concise track that puts the lens solely on OT’s creative labor. The video showcases some bouncing moments and group shots, but really, it’s just OT’s persistence that stands out here which the video and audio capture perfectly.
