Pop Duo Tiara & Andrew Launch New Supernatural Podcast

Local alt-pop duo Tiara & Andrew is normally dazzling us with their wonderful music, but on their latest endeavor, the duo is dimming the light to look for things that go bump in the night. Otherwordly is a new podcast that focuses on the supernatural and mysterious side of life that arrives just in time for the scariest month.

Debuting on September 30th, the pilot episode of the podcast focused on the mysterious occurrences Tiara and Andrew have experienced over the years as well as insight into the curious minds of both hosts. At one point, Tiara and Andrew discuss a fleeting light they just caught in the sky before Tiara sums the spirit of the podcast by imploring people to just go outside and look around at the night sky. “You’ll be amazed at the things in the sky you see just playing around,” she muses. “You might get some answers to your deep, dark questions honestly.”

The duo was nominated earlier this year for the inaugural Newlin Music Prize for their record Roller Skates, a heartfelt collection of poignant hooks and profound lyricism. Listening to that record might make you wonder where this podcast could come from, but as discussed with Reese Williams on the This Room Sounds Great podcast back in April, it’s an interest the two have had over the years and are finally sharing with the world.
