Rock Band 64 Crayons Hit The Road On Video For “My 65”
Taking their band name to next numeric level, local rock band 64 Crayons has released a video for their latest single, “My 65,” that celebrates perennials, the ageless generation that eschews terms like “boomer” and “millennial” and instead defines itself by shared passion that transcends age demographics.
The video, directed by Matt West and produced by Mad Box Made, captures an elderly couple rejuvenating their life with the help of the open road, blurring the line between past and modern identities thanks to a classic heartland rock sound that’s steered by a modern country swing. It’s enough to make anyone want to hit the road, Mustang or not, and just feel alive again with the radio blaring and not a care in the world.
This video precedes the official release of the song, which will be available on all platforms on Friday, January 31st. “My 65” serves as the first single from 64 Crayon’s upcoming debut record, a ten-track collection of their passionate roots-rock sound that was recorded at Richmond’s Red Amp Studios and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in England.
