Sleepwalkers Release Live Video For Newest Single, “Never Enough”
Exuberant rock band Sleepwalkers hit the road this week for a month long, fifteen city tour, but before they start packing up the van, they released a brand new song this past Friday entitled “Never Enough,” along with an accompanying live music video.
The video, shot at White Star Sound in Charlottesville, VA, showcases the band’s new glitter rock tune through a black and white lense that’s reminiscent of lost footage from decades old recordings. Like the best of radio rock from the ’70s, the song moves and shakes with soulful vocals and a bouncy chorus, packed with enough fun instrumentation to please rock stalwarts and plenty of shiny melodies to win over the pop crowd.
“It’s a song about love,” says singer Austin York in a press release. “The kind of love that’s not selfish. A love without limits or expectations and the feeling of relief when you find that love, when it seems impossible.”
“Never Enough” comes after the release of “Wake Up” and “Reasons To Give Up In You” this past June through Spacebomb Records. Apart from holiday releases, these three songs mark the first batch of new music from the group after their wildly successful and acclaimed 2014 record, Greenwood Shade.
Sleepwalkers begin their tour on Tuesday, October 2nd in Cambridge, MA and will subsequently play in Philadelphia and Raleigh throughout the week before performing at The Broadberry in Richmond this Friday, October 5th. For more information on that show, click here.
