Slimriq Struts Over The Bouncy “Rubik”

At the beginning of September, Richmond MC Slimriq dropped the rubbery stomp “Rubik” and as the month came to a close this past weekend, the brazen rapper re-vested the bobbing single with a new, sleek video.

Shot by the team at Sniper Vision Filmzz, the video matches the brisk pace of the track, stripping away most of the fluff of modern-day music videos with just a steady shot of Slimriq flowing on a live mic while the camera cuts in and out to match the thumping beat.

This visual for “Rubik” was not the only new thing to come from Slimriq in the past week as the busy artist also put out three new singles on his SoundCloud page, “Problem,” “RichCity,” and “Tonight.” This is in addition to this five-track EP Bottom Baby that came out in June as well as some other singles that have dropped. Suffice it to say, if “Rubik” hits your ears in the right way, Slimriq has plenty more new material for you to dive into.
