R&B Singer Jerel Releases Smooth Video For “No Pressure”

This past Monday, singer and pianist Jerel released the sleek music video for his latest single, “No Pressure,” and took another bold step in raising his profile as one of the premier soul singers in the Richmond area.

A talented musician both in the spotlight and behind the scenes, Jerel has been a mainstay of the local music scene since his teenage years, whether producing R&B artists or co-founding the sublimely talented jazz-fusion group Doors Wide Open. Released originally back at the end of October, his latest single “No Pressure” is a throbbing soul song directed by vaporous crooning that’s proudly enhanced by the satiny video, which features intercuts of fountain swaying and flirtatious murmurs judiciously shot and edited by directors Michael Congdon & Julian Ashbee.
