SBC TR3 Keeps His Eye On The Prize On “Wealthy”

Everyone’s chasing something, and though each of our journeys are unique, it helps when the road ahead is stripped of anything weighing us down. For Richmond rapper SBC TR3, clarity is the key to progression, and that’s the message at the core of his latest single “Wealthy,” released alongside a new video as part of the Booth The Streets series.

“I’m trying to be wealthy / Get all this shit out of my head, get healthy / I carry this weight on my back, shit’s hefty,” he declares early on, laying bare his drive to level up by shedding distractions and focusing hard on what matters. His cadence glides confidently over the beat’s nimble stomp, landing with quiet power and intent, like a stout sucker punch you didn’t see coming.

“Wealthy” marks SBC TR3’s first release of 2025 and was quickly followed by “CANTU” in early April. Together, they build on the momentum of his 2024 EP Attainment, a tight four-track drop that flexed his energetic & frenetic approach to hip-hop. With a growing discography that dates back to 2021’s breakout track “Myself,” TR3 continues to prove he’s not just showing up–he’s carving a lane that he’s ready speed on down.
