Young Tapp & Lil Rhaa Prowl The Streets On “WYA”

 In News

Staying tapped into your surroundings is key: boots on the ground, eyes on the street. That way, when someone hits you with the dreaded “Where you at?” text, you’ve got an answer. Richmond MCs Young Tapp and Lil Rhaa take that mindset to heart on their latest single, “WYA,” turning street awareness into a prowling flow that comes to life on their new music video.

Shot by Clout Squad Films, the video places them in Richmond’s Delmont neighborhood, prowling through the streets atop a rolling, chiming instrumental produced by Buddha Beats. Both rappers attack the beat relentlessly, their frantic energy giving the track an off-the-rails intensity, controlled hip-hop chaos that instantly turns your ear.

Lil Rhaa has been making waves since his FREE YOUNGIN EP and has kept up a steady release pace with plenty of singles and records since then. His collaborations with Buddha Beats and Young Tapp have fueled much of his output, including several appearances on the 2024 album KHASERZ & TAPPERZ and now “WYA.” Since the single dropped in December, Rhaa and Tapp have kept the momentum rolling, linking with NBC Stan for “Baby Drac” and “Not A Pain Song,” two early 2025 tracks that suggest neither artist is slowing down anytime soon.

Check out the “WYA” video below, and make sure to follow both Young Tapp and Lil Rhaa on social media to stay up-to-date on their next release.
